The Youpi Studio

A studio facing the Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn for weekends in the mountains.

Less than 20 minutes from Sion, the Youpi Studio welcomes you all year round in the heart of the friendly resort of Thyon-Les Collons.

Located in Les Collons at an altitude of 1800 meters, the Youpi Studio offers a cozy mountain-style space for weekends and 4-season stays in Valais. Bathed in light with its large bay window and equipped with a panoramic balcony with a view of the Val d'Hérens and the royal couple, Dent Blanche and Matterhorn, the studio is welcoming, pleasant to live in while offering calm and comfort.

Hosted in a mountain residence, the studio is 37 m2 with a fully equipped kitchen area and a small bathroom with bath/shower and WC. It has a beautiful and bright living room with a lounge/dining room area and is equipped with a new and comfortable sofa bed. Perfectly equipped, you will find everything you need for peaceful stays in the mountains. (bedding, linen, dishes, basic utensils, etc.)

All you need to take is your suitcase and your hiking or skiing gear.

A covered balcony terrace, with table and chairs, awaits you for moments of relaxation facing the view.

 

For your ski sessions, the Trabanta chairlift is just 100 meters away and takes you to the heart of the 4 valleys ski area, the largest ski area in Switzerland.

In the summer, the studio provides access to the most beautiful panoramic hikes in the region, while in the fall, it opens onto the beautiful yellowed larch forests. Starting point for great discoveries in Val d'Hérens, the unmissable Grande Dixence dam is only 15 minutes away and the Evolène region, crowned the most beautiful villages in Switzerland, is 30 minutes by car.  An infinite playground in all 4 seasons.

VSWhat you need to know:

  • Young athletes or contemplative seniors, the studio is ideal for getaways for two or solo stays;

  • On one level, it is easy to access

  • Elevator and staircase serve the common areas (ski room, sauna, laundry room) 

  • The studio and its balcony are a non-smoking place

  • Animals are not allowed

  • Accessible by public transport

  • Parking space in front of the building

  • Shops (grocery store, sports store, café, restaurant) 

  • Thermal baths 10 minutes walk away
